What do the 'levels' refer to on the CogAT Order Forms?

"Levels" refer to the approximate age of a student for any grade.


The diagram above indicates the recommended testing level for students. However, in Iowa and Logramos testing, certain circumstances may require that you test the student in another level to produce National Percentile Ranking for Kindergarten and First Grade (below).  


Failure to set the test assignment to the correct level will prevent NPR scores for Grade K as well as Grade 1. 

Grade levels can be looked at as the approximate age of the student for that grade.
